Dipankar is principal Associate and currently heading MV Kini’s Kolkata office. He is an expert in banking laws, land laws, property disputes, and commercial and contractual disputes. He holds an LLM degree from Queen Mary, Centre for Commercial Law Studies, University of London and specialised in International Commercial Law, International and Comparative Commercial Arbitration, International Merger Control, after completing his 5- year integrated Bachelor of Law degree (BLS. LL.B.) from Mumbai University, India.
Dipankar has extensive experience in corporate advisory, commercial litigation and arbitration. He is a seasoned practitioner with appearances before the Bombay High Court and over a decade of experience in practicing before Calcutta High Court, National Company Law Tribunal, Debts Recovery Tribunals and Arbitral Tribunals and can speak English, Hindi, Bengali & Marathi fluently.
Dipankar started his journey at MV Kini Law Firm in 2009 from it’s Mumbai office and had appeared before the Bombay High Court. He shifted his base to Kolkata in 2012 and now regularly appears before Calcutta High Court, National Company Law Tribunal, Debts Recovery tribunal and Arbitral Tribunals. Before joining MV Kini Dipankar has gone through Internship under Advocate K. R. Shriram (Present Chief Justice of the High Court of Judicature at Madras).
