Astha is a Principal Associate leading the Capital Markets Team at our Delhi office. With over eight years of experience in Capital Markets and Banking & Finance, she advises top-tier and mid-segment investment banks on behalf of both government and private sector clients.
She completed her master’s in business laws from National Law School of India University, Bangalore. Her practice covers a broad spectrum of capital markets and loan documentation, including initial public offerings (IPOs), rights issues, private placements, and public issues.
She brings specialized insight into emerging instruments such as SME and municipal bonds and has successfully guided several municipal corporations across India through their debut bond issuances and green bond offerings.
Notably, she has advised municipal corporations in cities including Gandhinagar, Chennai, Varanasi, Vadodara, and Ahmedabad on private placements, and played a key role in supporting Indore Municipal Corporation in launching India’s first green public issue of municipal bonds under SEBI’s Municipal Debt Regulations.
