Ram is partner at Hyderabad Office. He has extensive experience for over 30 years in Corporate Litigation and General Law across various jurisdictions in India.

Ram specializes in project investments, project approvals, & licensing for new industrial ventures. He regularly advises clients on matters relating to commercial law, banking and finance, land acquisition, and property law. His experience includes assisting renowned international companies in establishing and expanding their business operations in India. He is particularly adept at navigating complex legal issues related to business, technology, and contract law, and has handled a diverse array of commercial and property transactions for corporate clients.

Ram began his legal career at the High Court of Andhra Pradesh at Hyderabad (now in the state of Telangana) under a senior counsel. Later he joined Fox Mandal & Associates, Bangalore and Hyderabad. His professional journey then took him to Delhi, where he worked in the chambers of Late Mr. V.B. Joshi, Advocate-on-Record at the Supreme Court of India. During this time, he associated with M.V. Kini Law Firm, initially in the Delhi office and subsequently relocating to the Mumbai office, where he worked closely with the firm’s founder, Lt. Sri M.V. Kini before moving to Hyderabad. He also oversees firm’s other branch offices located in Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh, as well as the Chennai office in Tamil Nadu.

Ram has also worked as in-house counsel, having served as Deputy General Manager – Legal at the corporate headquarters of the Jumbo Group (also known as the Chhabria Group) in Mumbai. At Jumbo Group, he led a legal team tasked with restructuring the group’s extensive Indian operations, enabling the promoters to divest from non-core businesses. Under his leadership, the team successfully settles various litigations and facilitated strategic sale of several non-core group companies, including Shaw Wallace Breveries Ltd., (acquired by SABMiller); Shaw Wallace Distilleries Ltd., (acquired by United Spirits Ltd. (now Diageo)); Mather & Platt Ltd., (acquired by WILO); and Hindustan Dorr Oliver Ltd., (acquired by IVRCL).
