Prateek is partner at Jaipur Office. He joined the firm in 2014. He did LL.B. from Faculty of Law at Agra University. He is also a Chartered Accountant registered with Institute of Chartered Accountants of India since 2011.
Prateek heads taxation practice at MVKini. He handles litigation and advisory related to direct & indirect tax, international taxation, merger & acquisition (M&A) tax, customs and GST. He has been extensively involved in representing various private sector and public sector undertakings including NHAI, Mazagon Docks, NPCIL etc in tax disputes before various adjudicating authorities, ITAT, CESTAT and Bombay High Court. He also holds experience in indirect tax matters and has represented clients in public hearings before the Directorate General (Safeguards) and tax tribunals.
Before joining MV Kini Law Firm Prateek was working with E&Y in their Financial Services and M&A vertical where he has been a part of team handling few large-scale M&A assignments. He has also been a member of professional associations like Chamber of Tax Consultants and Bombay Chartered Accountants Society.
