ARBITRATION

  R. K. Gupta has 40 years of experience in the legal field. He was an Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Law and Justice, Government of India, and has been instrumental in the drafting of numerous legislations. He was a judicial member of the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal of the Delhi Benches and of the Copyright Appellate Board. For the past 15 years he has conducted numerous arbitrations pertaining to the infrastructure, telecommunication, media and international trade sectors. He has been involved in Drafting Banking Legislation when in Government of India Service.

  S. D. Shetty has over 20 years of experience in commercial arbitration pertaining to international trade, banking, aviation, airports, and labour and service matters. He handles litigation related to these arbitrations before the Bombay High Court. He heads the Litigation Department of Head office.

  Janardhan, with over 25 years experience, undertakes arbitration relating to real estate, highway construction, and land acquisition. He appears in statutory arbitrations relating to valuation of land, and appears before the Allahabad High Court in arbitration-related disputes.

  Shabhan Hussain has 15 years of litigation experience before the Bombay High Court and is specialised in Consumer Court litigation. He assists the clients in mediation and conciliation in consumer-related disputes.

  V. Ramaswamy obtained his law degree from the Madras University and enrolled as an Advocate in Tamil Nadu Bar Council in 1970. He has held senior positions in the Commercial and Legal Departments of public sector undertakings and private companies for more than 27 years before resuming active legal practice. He is specialized in the drafting and negotiating of contracts for supply of equipment and project management services.
